DO YOU WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Africa Christian Action needs dedicated Christian volunteers to commit to helping on a regular basis with distributing literature, running booktables, organizing Life Chains and Prayer Vigils, research, mailings and preparation for outreaches, camps and conferences.

This would be a great opportunity for the young and young-at-heart to serve the Lord whilst gaining experience in Christian social action and Missions work.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23-24

CHRISTIAN ACTION MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME

Do you know of any dedicated Christians who would be interested in volunteering with Africa Christian Action for three months, six months, or a year?

Such an opportunity would be ideal for grade 10-12 learners who are interested in English and History and/or prospective, or qualified, Journalism or Humanities students.

During this training and mentorship programme participants would gain experience in:

Researching Pro-life and Pro-Family issues
Writing articles and press releases
Producing Christian magazines and radio programmes
Lobbying Members of Parliament
Christian activism, such as Life Chains, National Women’s Day Outreaches and National Day of Repentance activities
Organising and participating in outreaches, seminars and conferences

Trainees would be mentored by Christians with many years of experience in all of the above activities and extensive knowledge of world history, politics and worldviews.

Pro-life and Pro-family
Passionate about Reformation and Revival
Servant-hearted
Enthusiastic, willing to learn and hard working
A Driver’s licence and computer skills would be beneficial

Participants will be given access to the extensive Reformation Society book and audio-visual library for their reading assignments.

Participants will be provided with ongoing training and spiritual enrichment through books, CDs, DVDs and courses on Christian Action and Biblical Worldview topics as part of their training.
