REFORMATION IN ZAMBIA

In February a Frontline Fellowship mission team led by Dr. Peter Hammond completed a mission to Zambia and Malawi.  They conducted Biblical Worldview Seminars in Zambia and Malawi and presented a total of 80 lectures, Bible studies and sermons, including at Bible colleges, ministers fraternals and churches.  Over a tonne of Bibles and Christian books were delivered and distributed to churches, schools and missions.  The mission team also purchased a pick-up truckload of food, soap, salt, rice and other supplies for prisoners of Lusaka Central Prison (where Peter had been imprisoned in 1987).

The Biblical Worldview Seminar in Lusaka was opened by the Member of Parliament for the area and over 230 pastors, deacons and evangelists registered as participants in this BWS.

The missionaries also visited the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lieutenant General Ronnie Shikapwasha, MP (previously the Minister of Home Affairs and Chief of the Air Force).  General Shikapwasha has a dynamic Christian testimony and they enjoyed a good time of fellowship with him as he shared how the Lord had healed him from a crippling car accident.  His back was broken in several places and the doctors told him that he had no prospect of ever walking again.  But by God's grace he experienced complete healing and a dramatic conversion to Christ.

The mission team delivered school textbooks, library books and supplies for Christian schools and Bible colleges.  They had the opportunity to conduct staff devotions for teachers and assemblies for students and staff.  At one school they also took history, geography, Bible education and English classes with the students.  One film outreach, with the new Luther film, created much excitement and provoked lots of discussion.

BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW SUMMIT

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."      Romans 12:2

Since 1991 Frontline Fellowship has been conducting Biblical Worldview Seminars and Summits in South Africa.  BWS's have now also been conducted in Zambia, Namibia, Malawi, Nigeria, Romania, Sudan, Zimbabwe and the USA.  The Biblical Worldview Manual has gone through 8 revisions and is in demand on 5 continents.

As part of the upcoming Great Commission Course (24 June - 14 July) Frontline Fellowship is offering a Biblical Worldview Summit (24 - 31 June) in Cape Town.  This is a uniquely practical leadership training course designed to empower believers to apply Biblical principles to every area of life including:  education, entertainment, economics, ethics, media, marriage, ministry, crime, government, hospital and home.

In this world of constant crisis and change, Christians must be able to understand and explain how God's Word speaks to every issue of the day.  We must know what we believe, why we believe and how to articulate, apply and defend it in argument.

The BWS is designed to promote a renewed vision and revitalised devotion for our personal lives, our families, our churches, our nation and the world, resulting in us returning to God in repentance, rediscovering the Biblical agenda, rebuilding the moral walls of our society and resolutely working for Reformation and praying for Revival.

If you want Biblical answers to the tough issues of the day and if you want to experience spiritual revival  sign up for the Biblical Worldview Summit (24 - 31 June) in Cape Town.
