The Conference focused on Renewing our Devotional lives, Revitalising our Families, Reviving our Churches, Reforming our Society, Restoring God’s Creation, Rediscovering our Christian Heritage, Rebuilding Biblical Principles into Civil Government, Resisting Temptations and Threats, Returning to God in Repentance and Restitution, and Reapplying the Lordship of Christ to all areas of life.
Delegates to the Biblical Worldview Summit also participated in personal, literature and film evangelism in the nearby Xolanaledi informal settlement. Blankets, clothes and baby food were donated to churches in this cold, wet and windswept community.
International Life Chain
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.” Proverbs 31:8
Sunday 2 October is International Life Chain Sunday when up to a million pro-life Christians worldwide, at over a thousand venues, make a public stand for the right to life of pre-born babies. In Cape Town it will be at 1.45 PM at Buitengracht Street (outside the entrance to the Waterfront). Please join us for this time of prayer, repentance and witness as we seek to reach mothers, medical personnel, politicians, journalists and voters with the message that: Life begins at conception, life is sacred, and abortion kills babies. Contact ACA for details of Life Chains in your area or for literature and posters that you can use for organizing a Life Chain in your town.
National Women’s Day Outreaches
If you want to be part of Africa Christian Action’s outreaches on National Women’s Day, contact ACA (info@christianaction.org.za). For over 10 years, every 9 August, ACA has set up literature tables and displays in shopping malls to mobilize opposition to pornography. ACA’s message has been: Women don’t need meaningless public holidays and pious platitudes from politicians. Women need protection and respect. Ban pornography and execute rapists!
Reformation Celebration
The Reformation Society will be hosting a REFORMATION CELEBRATION in Cape Town 28-31 October. The Reformation changed the world and we want to celebrate the tremendous heritage of Faith and freedom which flowed out of the great spiritual Revival of the 16th century. Reformation Society Launched

On 15 June, at Livingstone House in Cape Town, The Reformation Society was launched. Recognising the relentless attacks on our Christian heritage, Hollywood’s crusade against Christianity, the media bias in newspapers and magazines, the rewriting of history in school textbooks, the anti-Christian prejudice in government and general ignorance of history (and apathy towards doctrine) in all too many churches and colleges, the Reformation Society is dedicated to restoring appreciation for our Christian heritage, producing, importing and promoting more books and films on the Reformation and organizing more events and conferences, to preserve our heritage, educate and inspire the next generation, counteract anti-Christian propaganda and establish a Reformation Museum. For more information, or to join the Reformation Society, visit www.ReformationSA.org or write to: P.O. Box 74, Newlands, 7725, Cape Town; or info@reformationsa.org
