CHRISTIAN ACTION YEAR OF YOUR LIFE
Do you know of any dedicated Christian young people of school, or university leaving age who would be interested in volunteering at the Africa Christian Action offices for a year?
Such an opportunity would be an ideal Gap Year for prospective, or qualified, Journalism or Humanities students.
During this Year of Your Life participants would gain experience in:
- Researching Pro-life and Pro-Family issues
- Producing Christian magazines and radio programmes
- Lobbying Members of Parliament
- Christian activism, such as Life Chains, National Women's Day Outreaches and National Day of Repentance activities
- Organising and participating in outreaches, seminars and conferences
Year of Your Lifers would be mentored by Christians with many years of experience in all of the above activities and who have been in the frontline of the world war of worldviews.
Interested people would need to be:
- Dedicated Christians
- Members of an Evangelical church
- Committed to pro-life and pro-family issues
- Passionate about Reformation and Revival
- Servant-hearted
- Enthusiastic, willing to learn and hard working
- A Driver's licence and computer skills would be beneficial.
Participants will be given access to the extensive cutting-edge Reformation Society book and audio-visual library for their reading assignments.
Interested candidates will need to:
- Send us your CV .
- Letters of Recommendation from their pastor, teacher or principal and/or employer.
- Fill out a questionnaire, which we will provide on request.
