ANC Cares Nothing For The Economy
It is a sad day in the history of South Africa when the ANC government publicly states it cares nothing for the economy, nothing for people out of work, the tourist industry and the film making industry.
When Safety and Security Minister Charles Nqakula says ”No assessment done of the economic effect of new legislation” he is as usual being economic with the truth. The ANC had done no assessments on the impact of the Firearms Control Act on anything, including crime.
What is known from all implementations of more strict gun control legislation anywhere in the world is that violent crime will not decrease. The most likely result is an increase in violent crime. The stricter the measures, the greater the increase.
What the Minister failed to say was that the ANC government is willing to sacrifice the lives of citizens, not just their financial well being. That it cares nothing for those lives sacrificed just so long as citizens are disarmed.
How people vote and support such a party of evil ruthless killers is beyond belief. Why dealers, the hunting and film industry, firearm owners and the general public are not toyi-toying in the streets is a testament to the stupidity of those who believe the ANC government would not harm them.
