Women's Day Outreaches

Thursday 09 August 2018  Hits : 1023

Make a Difference This Women’s Day!

Women and girls need real protection and respect – practical action, not pious platitudes from politicians and meaningless public holidays! Why not use National Women’s Day this year (9 August 2018) as an opportunity to inform, inspire and involve people in promoting awareness and taking action against the exploitation of women through pornography, prostitution, trafficking and abortion?

Participate in our Women’s Day Outreaches
On Thursday, 9 August, Women’s Day, Africa Christian Action will be setting up literature tables in at least three different shopping malls in the Cape Town area: Longbeach Mall (Noordhoek), Parow Centre, and at other shopping centres (to be confirmed).

This is also a great opportunity to reach unchurched people such as Muslims, who are unlikely to step inside the four walls of a church. If you are in Cape Town, sign up to help out at one of our tables. We need lots of volunteers! The outreaches start at 9am on 9 August. Sign up for a three hour shift or for as much time as you are willing to give.

Leaflets Available
Contact Christian Action for quantities of leaflets e.g. STOP the Traffick!”, “Fight the New Drug, Beveg Die Nuwe Dwelm, "The Christian Liberation of Women", “Abortion – the Facts, Women are Precious and Should be ProtectedandVroue Verdien Beskerming en Respek.
