What are you planning for Reformation Day?

On 31 October 1517, Dr. Martin Luther launched the Protestant Reformation with his bold stand at the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany. This Back to the Bible Movement is no doubt the most significant historical spiritual milestone in our lifetime.

Tour of Reformation Museums
Western civilization has been blessed with the greatest freedoms, productivity and prosperity ever known in history. The liberty, standards of justice and creativity enjoyed in Western civilization are a direct result of the Protestant Reformation of the 16th Century.

Hear Christian history come alive when Christian Missionary and Historian, Dr. Peter Hammond, presents a guided tour of the Reformation Museum in Wittenberg, Zürich and Geneva. As the Huguenot Museum is closed for renovations, we have hired the hall of Shofar Church (previously Eagles Nest), next to the Huguenot Museum in Franschhoek and will run a parallel children’s programme for under 13s, while Peter Hammond presents a photo-rich survey of Reformation Museums from 10am.

Reformation Day – Wednesday, 31 October 2018
The Reformation presentations are from 10h00 – 12h00 and will be followed by a Reformation Celebration service at the Huguenot Monument at 12h00.

Bring your home school children and their friends for a dynamic and vibrant history lesson that will inform, inspire and encourage them to work and pray for Reformation and Revival today.
