VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR WOMEN’S DAY OUTREACHES On National Women’s Day (Friday, 9 August), we will be holding three outreaches in shopping malls in the Cape Town area. We will be distributing free literature from our tables to all interested people, primarily focusing on informing and motivating people to make a difference in stopping human trafficking. The two main leaflets that we will be distributing are: STOP the Traffick! and Fight the New Drug. Stop the Traffick! deals with the global challenge of human trafficking and what we can do to prevent this modern day slave trade, and rescue victims. Fight the New Drug is aimed primarily at skeptical youth and educates on the harmful effects of p*rnography – how p*rnography addiction has similar effects on one’s brain to hard drugs and destroys relationships. Other literature will focus on issues dealing with the protection of women from abuse and exploitation and the importance of building strong families for the future of our country. Colorful Balloons for Children Children are welcome to participate in these outreaches. Pray for Funds New Banner We appreciate this opportunity to serve the community in this way and look forward to your positive response. Cape Town: Volunteers Needed! Contact us if you would like to get involved in any of the outreaches. We will slot you in at a time that is convenient for you. If possible, join us for a morning, or afternoon shift. The morning shift starts at 9:00am. The afternoon shift starts at 12:00 noon. This is a great opportunity for one-on-one evangelism, discussions and counselling. “Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? On the heights along the way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand; beside the gates leading into the city, at the entrances, she cries aloud.” Proverbs 8:1-3 Educate Your School or Church: Presentations Available Taryn and Abrie are available to speak at schools and churches on Traffick Proof (trafficking prevention), How the Media is Sexualising Your Children, Protect Children From P*rn or Fight the New Drug.
