Cavendish Charity Book Sale
low res general picFrom Thursday 27 August to Sunday 30 August we had the opportunity to have a book table at Cavendish Mall’s Charity Book Sale. As with our Women’s Day mall outreaches, this was an excellent opportunity for one-on-one evangelism, discussions, counselling and to educate shoppers on pro-life and pro-family issues.

Every person who came to our table received a Greatest Book in the World tract. We sold good quality, second-hand Bibles and Christian books donated to us by trusted authors at very reasonable prices.

We conducted 33 Evangelistic Surveys with shoppers who approached our table (and some with staff of shops nearby). We had the opportunity to share the Gospel with people from six major worldviews or religious backgrounds – atheists, cultural christians, Buddhists, Muslims, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and those holding to Eastern Philosophy. To each of these people, we gave a free copy of the New Testament and/or The Biggest Question DVD.

"Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? On the heights along the way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand; beside the gates leading into the city, at the entrances, she cries aloud." Proverbs 1:20-21

Evangelism Expo
Africa Christian Action participated in the Evangelism Expo in Tableview and distributed pro-life and pro-family resources. Our Literature4Africa Ministry distributed Bibles, New Testaments, Gospel booklets, tracts and audio-visual materials to Evangelists and pastors.

Audacity 4x6 postcard thumbAudacity Premiere
As Ray Comfort's new film: Audacity – Love Cannot Stay Silent, arrived last week, we hosted a premiere at Livingstone House last Thursday night.

From Living Waters, creators of the award-winning TV programme “The Way of the Master” and the hit movie “Evolution vs. God,” comes the powerful film Audacity. Executive produced by TV co-host and best-selling author and Evangelist Ray Comfort (Hell’s Best Kept Secret, Scientific Facts in the Bible), this film delivers an unexpected, eye-opening look at the controversial topic of homosexuality.Audacity uses a unique approach to address a very sensitive subject in contemporary society. Regardless of your views on homosexuality, you’ll gain fresh insights and a new perspective.

Host an Audacity Premiere at Your Church!
All you need to do to host an Audacity premiere at your church is to purchase the DVD from Living Waters Africa. Alternatively, if you are in Cape Town, we can screen it for you at your church (using our own projector and screen, if necessary).

The movie is very evangelistic and contains the clear Gospel, offering a wonderful opportunity to reach the unsaved with a thought-provoking movie on a most timely topic.

The Rise of the GayGB and the Pink Inquisition
The US Supreme court ruling on gay "marriages" led to an enormous amount of communication on social media, responding to our book, The Pink Agenda – Sexual Revolution and the Ruin of the Family,(which is now updated and available as an E-book) and articles and posting on the GayGB Thought Police and Pink Inquisition. There was an immediate worldwide response to Dr Peter Hammond’s Reformation Society lecture on The Rise of the Gay GB and the Pink Inquisition, which is also on SermonAudio.com, leading to more ministry opportunities.

Abrie at Rondebosch BoysSchool Ministry
Abrie and I presented the children’s version of Traffick Proof (warning about how traffickers trick and trap children) at a primary school and presented Fight the New Drug (the science behind and solutions to pornography addiction) to a Life Orientation class at a high school. The presentations sparked significant discussions and questions from the children.

National Alliance for Life Conference

All pro-lifers and pro-life ministries in South Africa are invited to participate in the annual National Alliance for Life Conference which will be taking place on Saturday 3 October 2015, 9:00am – 13:00, Gateway Christian Church, Umhlanga, near Durban. The following day, Sunday 4 October, there will be the National March for Life in Umhlanga.

The National Alliance for Life (NAL) is an umbrella body that was formed in 1995 and is the only body which represents all Pro-life organizations and churches in South Africa. It was formed to create a platform for times where there is a need for pro-lifers in South Africa to plan and act together. It purposely does not have a constitution so as to allow very loose, non-rigid associations, within which each organization and church group can maintain their own identity.

This purpose of the conference is for pro-lifers to share ideas and experiences, and to strategise together for the year that lies ahead. This is followed by the National March for Life/Life Chain the next day, Sunday 4October. For more information about the NAL Conference or the National March for Life, please contact Doctors for Life: This email address is being protected from spambots. “Rescue those who are led away to death; hold back those staggering towards slaughter. If you say, but we knew nothing about this, does not He who weighs the heart perceive it? Will He not repay each person according to what he has done?”Proverbs 24:10 -12
